My client are looking to source and produce from proven reserves of oil and gas, the business seek candidates to increase and optimise production. The company are focused on cutting edge technologies and market leading drilling methods and after many years of successful operation are looking to move to the next level. To do so they have identified a number of key positions they must fill.

As a result we are looking to secure the services of a Drilling Engineer with offshore experience. You will come from a post graduation background that includes at least 10 years oilfield exposure, this experience MUST be with an international operator. Ideally trained by a major operator you will have been a day rate consultant for a number of years and be competent and comfortable dealing with local personnel, international colleagues and contractors. You will also be comfortable securing equipment, defining budgets and preparing and writing drilling programmes for offshore operations. A major focus is on HP HT wells and as such this is the determining factor when selecting candidates for the business, at least 5 years HP HT experience is a must.

I feel this business is ideal for a candidate from a major operator background who is looking to develop with an international business. The challenge is only matched by the rewards. The business recognises the need for securing the best talent and as a result can remunerate accordingly.
