BEIJING & HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Transform Software and Services, a global leader in integrated interpretation and analytics software for conventional and unconventional exploration and production (E&P) resources, today announced a multi-year software reseller agreement with Beijing-based ESSCA. This agreement will significantly expand availability and deployment of Transform’s core products and services across the E&P market within China.

Through a network of regional offices located across the country, ESSCA will provide a direct sales and support channel to existing and prospective customers engaged in both unconventional and conventional E&P projects.

Transform software is currently used by nine of the top 10 unconventional reservoir operators in North America, as well as several major Chinese companies engaged in conventional exploration. The company’s current footprint within the E&P market affords deep technological expertise and insight that can be leveraged by new and existing customers worldwide.

According to the Oil & Gas Journal, China’s shale gas resource alone is estimated at 100 trillion cubic meters, of which 36 trillion cubic meters is technically recoverable under current conditions. With direct support and initiative of the Chinese National Energy Administration (CNEA), oil and gas exploration has increased aggressively in recent years, with the southern and northwest regions of the country revealing the most favorable reservoir conditions and resource concentration.
