       我们强调英语的学习要实现兴趣化，没有兴趣，事倍功半。专业英语学习时，专业词汇的掌握是基础。记忆也有很多有趣的方法。比如，石油行业中有许多与动物有关的词汇，今天我们来列举一些：
        Bull Plug: 管堵，就是一个实心儿的堵头。
        Cat Head: 猫头，管子坠
        Dog House:井场值班房
        Dog Leg: 狗腿
        Fish:落鱼，也就是井中的落物
        Fishing Tools: 落鱼打捞工具
        Fishtail Bit: 鱼尾钻头
        Horse Head: 驴头
        Monkey Board: 架子工操作台
        Mouse Hole: 鼠洞，接单跟用的
        Mule Shoe: 斜口管鞋
        Pig：通管器

记忆专业词汇时，不要仅仅记住他们的汉语意思，重要的还要记准他们的发音。否则就变成哑巴英语了。

I recently met an old coot in a bar in New Orleans, who had a peg leg, a hook in place of his right hand and a patch over one eye. I asked if he was a pirate or a seaman, and he replied that he had worked in the offshore Louisiana oil industry from its earliest days. I asked how he received all his injuries, and he replied that he got the wooden leg and the hook one day  when he tripped over some machinery and tried to steady himself near the drilling rod —losing his right hand and right leg. I asked how he lost the eye. He answered, "I got it when a seagull crapped in my eye." Incredulous, I asked how getting hit with seagull poop could cost him an eye. "Well," he confessed with onsiderable embarrassment, "it was the first day I had my hook, and I forgot about it when I wiped the stuff out of my eye."
