阳光石油论坛空中课堂第九期课程邀请德克萨斯州大学奥斯汀分校 于伟 PhD candidate 做客“空中课堂”，报告题目为：“Numerical Analysis of Field Development for Shale Gas and Tight Oil Reservoirs”，欢迎从事页岩气、致密油等非常规油气资源开采的研究生、油气田开发技术人员踊跃参加。
【内容简介】
Economic development of unconventional reservoirs hinges on horizontal drilling and multi-stage hydraulic fracturing treatments. Nevertheless, many uncertain reservoir and fracture parameters introduce big challenges for the optimal development. Additionally, reservoir modeling of unconventional shale reservoirs is quite different from that of conventional reservoirs. Therefore, quantifying uncertainty and optimizing hydraulic fracturing design in shale reservoirs are clearly essential.
In this presentation, the following topics will be discussed:
• Investigation of the impacts of non-Darcy flow, gas desorption, geomechanics, and inclined fracture angles on well performance; based on typical fluid and rock properties from Marcellus shale and Bakken tight oil reservoirs.
• Sensitivity studies to quantify the rank of important parameters affecting well performance using the design of experiment (DOE) method.
• Quantification of fracture properties through history matching of field production data from both Marcellus shale and Bakken tight oil reservoirs.
• Optimization of fracture design using response surface method (RSM) along with economic analysis.
• Development of a semi-analytical approach to simulate gas flow from unstructured fracture networks.
【专家介绍】WeiYu (于伟) is a fourth year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. His supervisor is Prof. KamySepehrnoori. His research is focused on optimization of hydraulic fracture treatments design for shale gas and tight oil reservoirs, gas injection for enhanced oil recovery in tight oil reservoirs. He once did summer internships in Schlumberger (2012), ExxonMobil (2013). In 2014, he will join Chevron for summer internship. Wei holds a BS degree in applied chemistry from University of Jinan, China, and a MS degree in chemical engineering from Tsinghua University, China. Wei is an active member of SPE and AAPG.
