SEGY Viewer is a trace and trace header SEGY file viewer from geoPLUS Corporation.

To Start, Browse to the folder containing the SEGY files and select a file to open.  All
files with the same extension will be shown in the Segy Files listbox.  Select file from
listbox, note that samples, sample rate, and data format are shown below while number of traces,
and format code are shown on the status bar.  The EBCDIC header is shown on the left side
of the tabbed sheet.

To see the trace header values, click on Scan Headers to read all trace headers and show
the min and max value for each 2 byte and 4 byte header location.

To view the traces select the Data tab.  The traces are shown in variable area mode and
left to right.  They are labeled by default as sequential trace numbers, alternate labeling
can be done by selecting a header word to display as a label.  To select a header word
click in the select column of the desired row and from the popup menu select "Label".  Select the
Data tab to view the changes.  The Zoom Out button allows a less detailed view of the traces.

To override the default data format select the required Data Type and Data Word length
for the data samples from the drop down combo boxes.
