论文题目：Testing oil saturation distribution in migration paths using MRI

The nuclear magnetic resonance imaging (NMRI) method has great advantages compared to other methods to observe the distribution of different fluids in situ in porous media, and to measure oil and water saturation, but has large space for improvement in the accuracy of measurement. Experiments imaging the evolution of oil saturation in secondary migration analog experiments are images with NMRI. A precise calibration is obtained using, simultaneously to tests on the main probed sample, a test sample fully saturated with oil with the same pore structure. The spin density imaging sequence is adopted for NMRI to ensure that the oil saturation in migration paths is accurately measured. The differences in oil saturation calculation according to data sources in different image formats are comparatively analyzed, and the method of saturation measurement is verified with the actually globally measured saturation results. It is so demonstrated that the precision of calculating oil saturation by directly using DICOM image format is relatively high, with a relative error of only 1.6%.
