Job Descrition:

Prepare development plans designed to optimise ultimate recovery and meet short and long term production objectives. Participates in the implementation of such plans, ensures appropriate execution, and trouble-shooting problem areas.
Coordinate and conduct reservoir engineering studies. Studies include developing computer simulation models required to prepare future reservoir behaviour under varying operating conditions.
Lead the evaluation of performance of reservoir, and recommend work programme changes required to meet agreed objectives.
Ascertain sound reservoir management practices and provide technical advice on field gathering operations.
Develop plan for reservoir surveillance and long term reservoir management. Evaluate production allocation software and other tools to be used for surveillance.
Identifies critical reservoir characterisation parameters that impact reservoir performance applies this information for optimisation of the development plan.
Provide expert technical advice on reservoir engineering simulation and study work.
Required Experience:

Bachelor Degree in Reservoir Engineering or related Engineering discipline
Min 8-12 yrs Reservoir Engineering, Min 5 yrs field development & 3 yrs reservoir simulation work
