Work smart, not hard

"Work smart, not hard" -- I've always been an advocate of this saying.

Because it's possible to achieve great results by organizing and planning your next move, rather than just staying busy to keep up the false front of productivity.

It's important to keep in mind that if someone is sleeping 2 hours a night and working 7 days a week, it doesn't mean they're successful.

And just because someone is working 4 days a week, getting all their sleep in, and still having time for hobbies left over, doesn't mean they're unsuccessful.

Successful people understand the value of their time, and they know that just because they're staying busy, doesn't mean they're necessarily being productive.

So next time you catch yourself taking advice from someone who prides themselves in "never catching a break" and "never getting enough sleep" and "being on the grind 24/7," think about it... Is this really someone whose lifestyle I want to replicate?
