            微生物提高石油采收率法(MIEOR)是将微生物部署到井眼和地下油藏中,或是刺激原有微生物产生生物化学物质,从而对储藏层或流体环境产生积极的变化的技术。MIEOR有几十年的实验室测试和现场试验的历史,但很少应用于大规模的工业生产中。本文综述描述了MIEOR技术涉及到的机理和构成要素,并将实验室试验成果扩展到大范围的工业应用中。微生物往往存在于有能力产生多种生物化学物质和生物量的组织中,这些生物化学物质和生物量能够表现出多种对MIEOR有用的行为,以及类似于储层变质、设施腐蚀和地层损害等一些有害的行为。由于微生物群体的复杂性,很难弄清在某一特定储藏层中微生物群落不断生长的最终影响结果。这需要广泛的实验研究外加长期的现场试验,最近有几个试验案例的结果可以用于参考。这些复杂性和要求减缓了MIEOR的工业化发展。近年来取得的重大进展改进了建模和模拟工具,这些工具能够更真实地反映微观和宏观范围内MIEOR作用的演变。MIEOR技术的优缺点已被调查和探索。考虑到MIEOR技术最近取得的进展,讨论了对其发展和开发的未来期望。

    Abstract:
          Microbial improved and enhanced oilrecovery (MIEOR) deploys microbes into wellbores and subsurface oil reservoirsand/or stimulates in-situ microbes to generate biochemicals that inducepositive changes to reservoir and/or fluid conditions. MIEOR has a history oflaboratory testing and field trials stretching back many decades, but fewlarge-scale commercial projects. This review describes mechanism and componentsinvolved and the challenges in scaling-up laboratory performance to field-wide commercialapplications. Microbes tend to exist in consortia with the ability to generatea wide range of biochemicals and biomass capable of performing various usefulMIEOR actions and some actions that are detrimental (e.g., reservoir souring,facilities corrosion, formation damage). The complexity of the microbialconsortia makes it difficult to unravel the net consequences of growing amicrobial community in a specific reservoir. This requires extensiveexperimental studies coupled with long-term field trials and the outcomes ofseveral recent examples are provided. These complexities and requirements havehistorically slowed down the commercialization of MIEOR. Significant advancesin recent years have provided improved modelling and simulation tools capableof representing more realistically the evolution of MIEOR actions at the microand macro scales. The advantages and disadvantages of MIEOR are identified andexplored. Future expectations for the development and exploitation of MIEORtechnologies are discussed considering the recent advances it has achieved.
