In large-scale problems of groundwater hydrology and petroleum engineering, fracture orientation, spacing, frequency, length, etc., commonly cannot exactly be determined.Thus, the location of blocks of porous rock and their boundary fractures are assumed to be uniformly distributed in the reservoir.In this case, the reservoir is considered to be an equivalent system which can be homogeneous or heterogeneous, indicated by the test data (Gringarten, 1982).“Equivalent" system refers to the model which theoretically behaves equivalent to the actual, observed real rock (裂缝性油藏等效渗透率处理方面的，希望对大家有所帮助，是国外资料）
